If you guessed that the word comes from the French word automne, you are right. Many words in English come from French, so sometimes there are 2 words for the same thing!

FIFA World Cup discussions...
You might think since Canada doesn’t have a football team in the FIFA World Cup, that Canadians wouldn’t be too connected or excited about the game, but actually it’s fantastic because we cheer for the players and skills that make the game exciting.
